My Duties: • Prepares opening and closing prayers for nation longhouse meetings • Is responsible for opening and closing prayers at each campout • Tells the story of Muck Luck at opening ceremony • Responsible for knowing whereabouts of Muck Luck • Responsible for welcome of the Great Spirit and Roar of Thunder at campouts • Works with Sachem, when Nation Chief isn’t available, to act as chief • Works with Meshenewa at recruiting events, to bring spiritual nature of program • Twice a year with Wampum Bearer to roughly verify the validity of accuracy of the Nation account |
