"ACT OF KINDNESS"

Sunday, December 4, 2011, 1:00-3:00 PM

Little City's Recreation Hall

1760 West Algonquin Rd, Palatine, IL

(just west of Roselle Rd)

Get in the Christmas Spirit!

Dads and daughters will be brightening the weekend of developmentally disabled children and adults at Little City's nationally recognized Palatine Campus.

We'll be festooning the recreation center with holiday decorations, playing games and music with the residents, and serving drinks and cupcakes to hungry kids, adults, and staff.

This is really a special social-minded event for the girls - and the Dads.  We're going to bring a little holiday cheer and fun to some kids who really appreciate visitors like ourselves. We don't do anything quite like it, and neither do many other groups.

Please let us know whether you and your daughters are planning to attend by registering :  www.algonquinlonghouse.org

In the spirit of the holiday season . . .Please bring a donation for the Palatine Food Pantry.  Any non-perishable items are appreciated, such as: tuna, jelly, peanut butter, hamburger helper, macaroni & cheese, pasta, spaghetti sauce, coffee and tea, cold cereal, canned fruit, crackers, tomato products and rice.
