I wish ALL dads and daughters would join and experience the Indian Guides and Princesses Program and enjoy what I have enjoyed with my kids. My daughter and son, now in 7th grade, enjoyed many years of campouts, events, etc. But our precious time together went by quickly. As we spent more time in the program, the further involved I became, eventually becoming a Tribal Chief and a (Guides) Nation Chief. Great memories and precious time together for all of us. Thankfully, I have a son in 1st grade, so that I still have 5 or 6 more years of memories to make, with my son, my friends (dads) and their sons. Not a moment was wasted and we have wonderful memories to last our lifetimes.

I joined last year and what a great program and a great way to spend quality time with your kid(s). Lots of fun events and best thing, its so low pressure from a commitment stand point, although we try to make all the events as they have all been great.

Joining the Indian Princesses was one of my life’s better choices. Thru the program I spent a lot of time with my daughter. It gives kids supervised yet unstructured time, which helps kids develop imagination, interdependence, social skills, and self confidence. The program is really about the daughters, but it is great for fathers too. I experienced personal growth and made great new friends I otherwise would not have made. It builds stronger bonds between fathers and daughters, which builds stronger families, stronger youth, and ultimately healthier communities. Take the time to learn more about an Indian Princess program. Then someday perhaps you will be writing your testimonial here.

When I first jointed the Indian Princesses, I was a bit concerned that my then 5 year old daughter Sam might be a bit young, and a bit intimidated by the older girls in the tribe. Boy, was I wrong. The older girls took her under their wings immediately, and Samantha had a great time. Then I was concerned that Sam would be anxious and want her mom on the first campout. Wrong again - (Sam just looked over my shoulder and said - no I didn't want my mom - I had a great time!) Now it's 4 1/2 years later, and Sam is the 2nd oldest girl in the tribe, and it's her turn to lead the younger girls. We've had a great time - the more you do, the more fun (and memories) we've had!

The thing I love about indian princesses is I get to spend time with my dad. And I have so much fun at the meetings and campouts. Its a great experience.
