Chickasaw Mother Earth Day

What:  Celebrate Mother Earth by Planting Trees with Your Whole Family
When:  Saturday, May 19th, 9:00 – 11:00 AM
Where:  Bridlewoods Park in Hawthorn Woods (18 Thornfield Lane, Hawthorn Woods)
Hawthorn Woods recently earned Tree City USA designation thanks, in part, to the work that the Indian Princesses have done over the past few hunting seasons to plant new trees throughout the village.  Once again, we have honor of helping to beautify yet another park and leaving a legacy that our Princesses will be able to enjoy for years to come.
Hawthorn Woods Public Works will provide everything except the muscle… that’s our Princesses’ job!  Please bring gardening gloves and sunglasses (for eye protection) for your kids.
We will plant several trees as a nation as well as each child (Princesses and siblings) will be able to make a Mother Earth craft to take home with them.
Coffee, juice, and donuts will be provided.
Cost:  $25 per family
